During Joey’s baseball game I sat on the bleachers near another mom.  This may be a bit of a shock, but after a few minutes, we were chatting like long lost friends.  She seemed like every other sports mom that juggles getting her kids to and from practices and games all week long.  I was shocked to learn that her husband, who was a whopping 31 years old, died suddenly in January leaving her to raise their 2 kids alone. 

It freaked me out to think how my evening’s discussion totally fed into my post that day about losing someone suddenly or having the advantage of making peace and saying goodbye.   It will be a very educational summer for me I’m afraid.
